MotoGP 2024: the grid so far

An update on rider renewals, rumours, and confirmed movements

It has been hard to keep track of what the 2024 grid will look like with the amount of rumours, changes, and contract negotiations that has been going on in the past few weeks. At the time of writing we have 80% of the 2024 grid signed and sealed… apparently.

It seems that this year, contracts don’t mean too much, as Marc Marquez is looking to break his to leave Honda, Alex Rins leaves LCR a year early, and KTM / GasGas will have to shun one of their contracted riders to make room for Pedro Acosta.

The table below shows all the latest on each of the riders. Find the current, 2023, grid on the left hand side, with the confirmations and rumours next to them. Once more to the left is the teams they currently ride for, and the rightmost column shows what those teams are looking like in 2024.

Please note- any rumours are just that, and have been compiled from talk amongst journalists, remarks from commentators, and some hints from the riders themselves, but should not be taken as fact.
