Moto3 in 2024: What will the grid look like?

Written by:

An update on all the latest rumours and confirmed movements within the Moto3 grid.

We are now in the depths of Silly Season, yet less than half of the seats in Moto3 have been locked in for 2024. So far we know that 3 riders from the class will be making the move up to Moto2: Deniz Öncü, Jaume Masia, and Diogo Moreira have all signed contracts. It is likely at least 1 more will be joining them, but it is unclear who it will be.

On the other end, we have 6 confirmed rookies joining Moto3 from the FIM’s Jr GP, including championship leader and 2023 RedBull Rookies champion, Angel Piqueras, who will be joined by David Almansa, Joel Esteban, Luca Lunetta, Nico Carraro, and Xabi Zurutuza.

The table below shows all the latest on each of the riders. Find the current, 2023, grid on the left hand side, with the confirmations and rumours next to them. Once more to the left is the teams they currently ride for, and the rightmost column shows what those teams are looking like in 2024. Riders in bold are those who are new to the grid.

Please note- any rumours are just that, and have been compiled from talk amongst journalists, remarks from commentators, and some hints from the riders themselves, but should not be taken as fact.
